Clare O'Malley is an award-winning Irish artist whose career spans Dublin and New York City stages. As an accomplished actor, singer and songwriter, Clare is a proud graduate and valedictorian of the University of the Arts with a BFA in Theater. Most recently, she garnered acclaim for her performance as Agnes Mundy in Joe Dowling's 2025 production of Dancing at Lughnasa at the Asolo Repertory Theater.

Clare's stage career includes originating roles at Ireland's most prestigious venues, including The Abbey Theatre, The Gate Theatre, and The Gaiety. In New York, she is a company member at the Irish Repertory Theatre Off-Broadway, having played notable roles such as Katie Doogan in Philadelphia, Here I Come! and starring in The Plough and the Stars. Her work in Pumpgirl earned her high praise, with The New York Times calling it "one of the year's most astonishing performances."

In addition to her stage work, Clare wrote and performed her acclaimed solo show, Transatlantic Living, Off-Broadway. Her screen credits include the major motion picture MGM's Creed and the TV series Distemper and Isolathuns. Clare performed on the Eurovision stage in Baku, Azerbaijan!

A recipient of the Irish Arts Council's Agility Award, Clare's artistry extends to her music. Her popular single ‘The Collector’ and her 2025 Debut EP ‘New Heights’ are available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube.

Clare is the granddaughter of poet Thomas Kinsella and Mary O'Malley, founder of The Lyric Theatre in Belfast.
