Clare O'Malley is an award-winning Irish artist based between Dublin and New York City. She is a graduate and valedictorian of the University of the Arts with a BFA in Theatre.

Recent credits include Agnes Mundy in Dancing at Lughnasa (Asolo Repertory Theatre, directed by Joe Dowling, 2025). Clare has performed at The Abbey Theatre, The Gate Theatre, and The Gaiety in Dublin, and is a company member at The Irish Repertory Theatre Off-Broadway. New York stage roles include Philadelphia, Here I Come!, The Plough and the Stars, and Pumpgirl, which The New York Times named “one of the year’s most astonishing performances.”

Clare wrote and performed the solo show Transatlantic Living Off-Broadway. Screen work includes Creed (MGM), Distemper, and Isolathuns. She also performed on the Eurovision stage in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Clare’s debut EP New Heights (2025) and single The Collector are available on all major streaming platforms. Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube.

She is the granddaughter of poet Thomas Kinsella and Mary O'Malley, founder of The Lyric Theatre in Belfast.

Off Broadway Clare has played major roles such as Nora Clitheroe in The Plough and the Stars and Sinéad in Pumpgirl, U.S. regional highlights include Nina in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Beth Halloway in Something Wicked This Way Comes, Joan in Saint Joan, and her personal favourite — the title role in the U.S. premiere of Hetty Feather.
